Turnbuckles
Turnbuckles are used to insert a lashing bar and are tied to the ship’s deck with a lashing plate. By rotating the frame of the turnbuckle, the tension can be adjusted. There are 2 types: The knob turnbuckle used with a knob lashing bar and the jaw/hook turnbuckle which should be used with a eye/swivelhead lashing bar.
